yeah i understand the math/economics of the effect... why it has that effect i dont understand... why does a sell order that is in the market at 100% or 2x the current price of the stock, and therefore has no chance of being executed, scare me into selling/discourage a momentum run... esp considering we have brains and can tell its fake... even if we cant we know it wont get executed cos its so far away... and algo's are surely sophisticated enough these days to know to ignore such orders... also if there were no big sellers, buyers wouldnt be able to get on... a huge sell order close to the SP may well scare people into selling or discourage traders wanting to get in if they are waiting to see potential upside momentum... but these big sells were at least 50% higher than the SP at the time if im not mistaken.. 50% gain is still ok i hope?... a huge sell order put in now at $1.50 would be meaningless... it might have the effect you are talking about but i dunno why... it shouldn't... its meaningless... and obviously so... why dont a few of us holders do the equivalent... put in some big buy orders now between 1c and 4c ... anyway... good to see this weeks perfomance
