fake sell orders help stack the sell depth and discourage traders looking for a momentum run. this just helps to keep the SP from reaching breakout prices, which would lead to a SP of say 80-90c or more.

when it comes time for a cap raise, the sophs would only get 10m shares at 80c, but they would get 16m at 50c.

if, for example, the company goes into production and on a PE of 8 becomes a $400m company, the 10m shares would be worth $66m, but the 16m shares would be worth $96m.
