The IBA stake is an investment of AEP, not AFG or any of the other investments made by AFG.
Check the accounts for AEP... it had NO debt at 31/12/07. The businesses it has invested in have a combined $92mil of debt, but if there are any problems relating to that debt it would be limited to the particular business the debt belongs to.
In short, there is nothing obvious that would force AEP to sell its stake in IBA. However, given the penchent of Coe & co for structuring their companies in opaque ways, can never be sure what might happen!
