I shop at Aldi and here is why

I'm a Woolies share holder, but I shop at Aldi. Here's why:
It is really quick to shop at Aldi, there are so many thousand fewer product lines - you are in and out.
I don't get tempted to buy stupid magazines or other products
I am sick to death of being asked in woolies if I want assorted movie cards, stickers, animal cards at the checkout. really sick of it.
I take offence if I am asked to buy a raffle ticket, and then *after* I say not today thank you, they say 'its for the children's hospital'. I will and do donate money to charities of my own choosing, and I really object to being sold these tickets at a supermarket checkout.
You will learn where the many hundreds of products you buy are located in a woolies or coles, then management will decide to re-jig the store and it will all be scrambled!!! Time to re-learn.
Aldi is cheaper.

What do Woolies need to do? Simplify their processes, and therefore reduce staff costs. Have a product offering that is high quality and good value. Our vet has told us none of the pet flea and worming treatments in Woolies actually work. There's a start. Woolies need to reduce their prices without compromising on quality or screwing their suppliers. cheers
