Surely you realise Hot Copper is a company that derives it's income from Advertising..
Anyone can pay to have their product / company promoted.. doesn't mean it's any good.. just means they stumped up some cash for access to HC's database of our email addresses..
If you are loosing cash based your investment strategy of buying something because it appeared in a stock market newsletter you probably should re-think your strategy..
