Speccy, I imagine that just like every other advertising company, they cant vet every thing they promote..
How would HC or any TV network, newspaper or magazine ascertain the financial stability of a company before running their ads? It is just not possible..
I too have seen the effect of the HC emails on a number of shares over the last 12 months, and as a trader there is often an opportunity to take advantage of the interest they generate.. No doubt about it.. But would I invest based solely on that info? Not likely!
Don't get me wrong - I feel sorry for anyone who lost cash - I was just trying to point out that the thread title suggested it was HC's fault, and the OP suggested that he / she bought BECAUSE of the HC email.
Good / expensive lesson to learn, and hopefully some other new investor will read this thread and not make the same mistake.
Really their emails are no more accurate than Motley Fool, the stupid one ANZ / E Trade send me every month or any of the 100's of others floating around out there.
Unless you are just trading - Do some RESEARCH before investing and don't blindly follow ANYONE..
