given the kcn and the andean shareprice, then if i were n andean shareholder, i would not accept the bid. gosh, one could sell andean shares on the market, and buy more shares in kcn than what kcn are offering
however , why not have a look at the kcn presentation, that was released today.
some points to note
.65% of geophysical anomolies are mineralized. watso would tend to think, that some of these, will end up being orebodies
.39 prospective (of which 10 are high priority) within economic distance of the gold processing plant
.1500 sq km under lease applications
not that watso has heard of it before, but kcn has a "A rating reputex" which is described as "sustainability/csr ratings - only asx miner with A rating or better - with RIO and BHP". whatever it is, it sounds good
. by the end of june, the outstanding hedges are expected to be a bit under 59000 oz
from watso's understanding of the presentation, it appears that kcn will innitially sell down about 10% of the project, by the end of the year. that should result in a nice bit of money coming in - about $50m.
