That's the thing Muddy. I can't really find the expanse that you are talking about. I know of things such as the Clean Energy Finance Corp offering discounted loans for business vehicles. I know that Labor has some policy about government vehicles being electric.
But I'm not aware of large government subsidies like solar or wind attract for example.
Also, you are talking about things that might happen re import tax etc. So far ev users in Australia get very little help as compared to parts of Europe and the US.
I'd appreciate any info you can post on this.
As far as evs paying their way, the government has been working on a kilometres travelled tax for evs to replace petrol tax for quite a while. I have no doubt that will be a thing in years to come.
