We do not know what price they paid for the options, but we know the cost to exercise the options to shares is 0.5c per option. If they exercised at 0.5c, with costs of 0.5c, they only made 0.2c per option held. Hardly a fortune.
*Generally* the option price will follow the share price, minus the exercise price.
I only convert my options when I want the 12 month CGT timer to begin, or when the options are "undervalued" (share price - 0.5c > option price).
Will the conversion of all of the options change the shareprice? Maybe, but we have known about the options for a long time. I hope people convert their options, we could use the cash.
