As some of you may know I'm very much in favour of the merger as a former holder of both HZN and ROC (sold my ROCs after the "takeover" approach) and I find the arguments against it to be fairly tenuous at best. What surprises me most though is that, regardless of your views on the merger, ROC holders are about 30% better off since the announcement and there is still dissent. Can someone explain to me why their views are so out of step with the street?
Obviously the amendment doesn't pass and it will be looked back on as a foolish waste of time by a very average fund manager but what concerns me is so many on this site have fallen for his rubbish, when the professionals see it otherwise.
