If the above quotes " one particular shareholder should be able to torpedo....." are accurate , then this is an appalling and disgraceful piece of misinformation by HZN Chairman.
One shareholder CANNOT torpedo anything.... for this resolution to pass there has to be a 75% vote in favour which will require a majority of ROC holders voting agreeing with the resolution. If a majority of ROC holders vote in favour then it is only fair and reasonable that they get a vote on the merger ( which is what should have happened in the first place). He is really "offended" at the prospect.... well welcome to the club buddy, as many ROC holders are " offended" by the corporate machinations which have denied them the right to vote on this reverse takeover.
The absolute hide of thus fellow to again say that HZN holders have been waiting for a dividend for a long time and they will use ROC cash and ROC franking credits to do so is a joke.
IMO, there is not much chance of a 75% vote in favour on Friday, but that remains to be seen.
Cheers
Dan
