Ive checked out China Oilfield Services,the owner of the HYSY jackup rig-a company listed on the HK stock exchange. There is no apparent connection between it and CNOOC.
Their latest QR is for the 30/6 quarter.
The 2 infills werent drilled until July so I will see if they get a mention in their "Activites" section of their 30/9 QR.
A dream (or pipedream) situationwould be for this new technology to have application at Maari and be able to more accurately redrill the last 3-6 wells and avoid their watering out (which Im reasonably sure is what happenned ).
