The 1929 crash took week to months to swing into full effect. Newspapers had to printed, sent by ship and read. People had to physically visit their stock broker to list a share sale.
In the world now controlled by instant 1 and 0's and computer trading algorithms, many designed to sell on mass should they detect market panic it boogles the mind just how quick the next market and currency crash will occur.
weeks months years ? who knows but it will happen.
