Hey Madmin. Yeah this had happened countless times to me as well and drives me up the wall. One situation it happens is when you accidentally delete the quote and ctrl+z to bring it back... But only if you hit the "delete" key to delete it. Backspace to delete is fine and ctrl+z brings back a functioning quote (yes that's very weird, tested several times to be sure and no idea why that's the case).
You can test yourself; post, delete the quote with the delete key, undo (ctrl+z for me) to bring the quote back from the abyss, and post. And try again with the backspace key. Hopefully, I'm not the only one it's the case with.
I don't know if this is the only situation that it happens under, but it is one that frequently does for me. It's not browser-specific as far as I know, both Chrome and Firefox/ Windows 10/ PC.
