JustSayin refers to long suffering shareholders! Let's get a fact check guys:
HVN was around $1.60 in mid 2012, and I bought in around $2 when it was clear to me that long term the company was well managed, benefited by significant asset portfolio, and a franchise business model that turns over consistent profits.
Yes, disappointing that the SP has retraced a little but the reality is that this stock is regularly shorted so you have to look at fundamentals to assess entry point. Record profits now reported, increased dividend and well placed to remain a very profitable retailer notwithstanding threats by Amazon. Remember, Australian culture whilst embracing online purchasing still likes bricks and mortar retailers. When was the last time you bought a bed or couch on line!
So, my advice is be grateful for stocks that have performed like HVN and payout good dividends. DYOR
