in the field they proved up a 1.4 billion tonne jorc @ hawsons in around 7 months from close to scratch.

they concluded the PFS around 12 months early.

i have never questioned the CAP teams ability to roll up their sleeves and get work done but its clear they are lacking in corporate nouse.

however in an ironic twist its probably their outstanding field achievements that are hurting them now. if they had achieved steadier results along the way at Hawsons we wouldnt now be faced with an agonising wait to May 2012 before BMG's hand is forced. cant say that is their fault though - they wouldnt have known what was to transpire but i do believe they could/should have handled it better when it did.
