DC, I believe it was you yourself who noted this a while ago. Nick, Chris, Doug and co are great at running an operation, but they let themselves down in the PR department. All the BRRs and presentations are well meant I'm sure, but neither have addressed the nuts and bolts of CAP's strategy with Hawsons. They haven't failed in a fundamental manner as much as they have undermined the effect that 'doubt' can have on a company's stock.
Nick is probably getting a bit tired of me mentioning on HC what he says to me, but its the only way that some shareholders are keeping in touch with where this thing is headed! We should receive a Hawsons update 'shortly' (his words), but given that the quarterly is due soon I would not be surprised if the two are combined in an announcement in around 2-3 weeks time.
