Thanks - and interesting that you bring up Myer. I have been watching it for months as a high risk spec investment and think it could be great value as it could have great cashflow if leases are renegotiated and inventory, costs and promotion is managed well .... but (and it is a big but) I am waiting for real signs of turnaround rather than the recent rally seemingly based on sentiment. I have asked my wife to swing by Myer when she is shopping nearby and report back on how the inventory, prices and vibe of the store is. Also a friend's son works on the shop floor there and I regularly ask him about the "vibe" of management and the floor. Nothing has given me the conviction to invest yet ... but there is a possibility I may.
