"My personal view is that HotCopper is dominated by "buy" sentiment posters" - True. But this may be explained by that most investors are long only investors, not short.
So people may prefer to discuss investments they hold or are interested in holding. There's heaps of stock I would have a big SELL on, but I don't have enough time to peruse those forums.
