I think the way to think about this merger from their perspective is to not look at the disappearance of a mobile competitor, but the gain of another full-service telco. And I think that is how ACCC will look at it. I believe they are painfully aware that the current two actors come up short in value and or service quality, so a new challenger would be most welcome in improving both. Just my two cents
