Never mind about the drop in ARPU, The massive interest bill, the need to replace your network equipment every 10 years, the $594M payment to the Australian Government to be paid this FY for 700MHz spectrum. and probably a big increase in the loan account again.
Other carriers rolling out 2600MHz for capacity and speed that Vodafone wont have..
5G is being rolled out in 4 years from now..
ARPU is a critical part of a Telco's profitabily and Net ARPU dropped 8.4%
Telstra is already trialling 1Gbps over 4G.
Vodafone just don't have the spectrum to get the fastest network speeds
Maybe TPG will rent or sell the 2600MHz spectrum they acquired to Vodafone
