there is nothing wrong with bonds. people do not trust theirself with their own money and can not spend their money in market, this kind of money must be collected and spent on useful projects. as long as gov spend wisely, everything will come good. the biggest problem in welfare states is spending more on unproductive activies, like spending on so called disanvantaged people or nations, spending on fancy projects like solar power. people shall learn to work to get reward, not rely on handouts, use most efficient way to work and live. gov shall not tax too miuch. so everyone stand on their own feet, economy will excel.
