I don't think this is possible in CommSec but I keep track of parcels in a spreadsheet. Nowdays individual shares are not numbered so it is actually impossible to know which share(s) you are buying or selling. I don't use ANZ so I cannot be definite but I suspect the Buy Sell links may be generated against each line but not apply to the individual parcel - nice if it does but I suspect not.
Selling to create a loss is legal but it becomes illegal if you sell and then buy in a short timeframe purely with the purpose of creating the loss for tax purposes. If you sell to create a loss then best not to buy back until the new financial year.
