I definitely hear what you are saying but even if that were to happen I would see it as very temporary. For me MDS is simply too close to production, low capex and profitable for this stock to stay even at current levels for the too long.
Ideally Macquarie will seal an asset sale so we will see a big cash injection to fully explore Rockwood however at the very least you'd expect a JV on MDS (therefore providing funding). With that currently on the table - I would be surprised if we do see further share price deteriation.
Dott - yeah passing on 55c is pretty inexcusable however I do note that Tinkler has not been actually been stumping up the cash for his injections so may be they had some issues with the conditions of his offer. Ultimately I am with you though that it annoys me when management protects their jobs at the expense of shareholder wealth.
Happy to hold this stock in these turbulent times.
