For someone who doesn’t want or have the ability to actively manage a portfolio of stocks how would you, or others including @madamswer compare owning bki vs bkw/sol?

In terms of the investment merits of BKI, the answer is simple: just look at the investment returns generated by the people who run BKI's money, namely Contact Asset Management.
If their returns are sustainably superior to the broader market, then BUY BKI.
If not, well, then simply buy an index fund.
As for BKW/SOL, as I implied in my earliest post today, SOL's biggest NTA components are NHC, TPM, and BKW
If you happen to like any of those, then why wouldn't you simply buy them individually?
