Yes Barry, hadn't really considered that there may have been other offers. Of course part of the deal was that they could have opted out and taken the $16m on each permit.
32m US and sailed off into the sunset leaving ENI to it. They had to be in though. As you say 20/20 hindsight is a fine thing.
