My son’s birthday is coming up soon, it’s relevant.
His second birthday was in London, visiting his mum’s auntie and my going out jeans were less than a month old and my Rossi boots were bought at the same shop ( Bowsfields, High Street, Fremantle. They use to send me a Xmas card until I was about 16, ya don’t see long term marketing strategies like that, anymore).
They’re still my “ going out” jeans but sadly the Rossi’s blew a sole after 6 years.

All jokes aside, having lots of money is great but not the “ be all”, there’s always someone with more or another shiny thing that’s a must have, ya just need another X amount, to be happy.
It’s total bollox, as NBD says good friends or as I would put it, being happy in your own skin is the what I consider to be “ wealthy “.
Don’t get me wrong, having a healthy bank balance and the joys of “ A Big Win” or 3 can put a spring in your step ( when Avb got taken over I bought 2 new pairs of Crocs).
