In the US:
Seems some western growers aren't happy:

As we move to the other side:

I wonder if yields won't be as great as we're all being led to believe.
India still struggling:

Not so much on wheat, but more generally, it's interesting to note that food inflation is seemingly on the run basically everywhere. Can't be due to a lot of inputs rising (wages, some raw material like grains, transport etc would be pretty flat or falling). My guess is that the ticket is being clipped somewhere along the line (here in Aus obviously that's woolies et al.. farm to retail spread etc etc).
Here are a few very recent examples:
Canada: http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/canadian-inflation-at-0-9-in-may-as-cost-of-food-climbs-1.3119826
India: http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/06/21/india-inflation-idUSL3N0Z702920150621
Dubai: http://www.thenational.ae/business/...-amid-sharp-rise-in-housing-and-utility-costs
US: http://www.wsj.com/articles/u-s-consumer-prices-rise-0-4-in-may-1434630852
EU: http://www.euronews.com/2015/06/17/inflation-returns-to-eurozone-with-high-food-and-tobacco-costs/
Some of those figures are quite large (much larger than core ex-food). My guess is that all of those figures are far far larger than wage growth in those nations.
Something doesn't seem quite right.
