DPR - most people here will not, and have not made a cent out of shares, because they don't understand basic concepts like this. What it appears to be is that during the football off season, the same pig headed fans need something to bash, and they turn to their portfolios (with a couple of Hotcopper most talked about shares making up the majority of their holdings). They look at the performance, and equate it to their sheet football team (Fremantle anybody?) and start the bashing.
