I'm thinking that XST could soon be the best positioned of the JV partners.

I can't see the board holding out to try and get the full settlement. FWIW my view is that they will look to settle and anything over $5m in cash, for no dilution, for a company with MCap of $10m, a good interest in these wells and a smart CEO like Cosimo, seems like a good investment to me.

Unless one believes they won't get a single cent (seems unlikely) then buying at around these levels look well balanced to me, with plenty of exposure to the upside.
