The Soul Patterson majority ownership is,to me the Great Positive about NHC.

I see some Mike in July stated that Soul Patterson was ex-Advertising Agency,now into Pharmaceuticals and Coal!!!

See Washington H Soul Patterson is one of Australia's Oldest Companies.Started in the 1890's and was a Diversified Industrial [Drugs,Coal,Bricks etc]
It's still majority owned by 3 Founding Families and has a Righteous Reputation for putting excellent Management Teams into it's "sidelines".
Anyhow it all got broken up into Divisions in the 90's and came under Majority Ownership by the Soul Pat Investment Vehicle.

Now this Majority 60% Holding is a real incentive to pay Dividends.
Also You can tell because they OWN the Coal Terminal in Brisbane that New Hope is into Vertical Intergration/Monopoly.

Further because of the Tight Share Register NHC is NOT subjected to Derivative Manipulation.Flash Insto/Hedge Funds Jiggling.
It is only represented in the All Ords.None of the other sub Indexes.
In current times it is avoiding the Chinese Muscle Flexing going on in the Steel Related Industries ie Iron Ore,Coking Coal.

Anyway,what I want to ask is whether anyone knows of their Contracts Duration,Local,Jap,Chilean?
I mean have they fixed Supply contracts for how long?When/If do these contracts expire and are subject to Price Falls,maybe?
These are the niggling questions preventing me going Major into NHC.Hope someone can give this Pilgrim to Mammon,d'Word!
