How does this affect AUR?, page-11

I suppose that the EGS news might be relevant to those who think that Michael Fotios has plans to take control of AUR.

While on the topic of MF, he controls Horseshoe Metals (as it would appear), and it's been virtually moribund for 2 years now since Neil Marsten left unexpectedly.

Although I like the fact that he has invested quite strongly in AUR. I hope that it's because he sees it as an excellent investment opportunity, letting others do the management and exploration without any undue influence from him. Because of the very poor situation with HOR (I used to hold, but got out when I knew that no-one was going to replace Neil M)) I certainly do not want him having any control at all at AUR. Offering advice because of his experience would be ok, but otherwise I would want him to stay out of the kitchen!
