Can someone please explain how WDS gets involved in these projects ?
An article posted on the internet says
"BG will now issue final notices to proceed to the main contractors appointed for the development of the first phase of QCLNG, including: Bechtel for the engineering, procurement and construction of the liquefaction plant; WorleyParsons for gas field facilities and infrastructure development; and MCJV, a joint venture between McConnell Dowell and Consolidated Contractors Company, for the transmission pipeline network."
McConnell Dowell is a company that creates the pipework . Does this mean that WDS doesn't get much work with BG ? I understand they could be sub contracted by WorleyParsons to do some work , but the cream for WDS would be to build the 500km+ of pipelines - and this is going else where . Can someone give some insight into how it works ?
