    G'day timmayd,

Sorry to take so long to reply...

I don't believe it is 'control' of your Board EPW seek, rather to have a Board they can work with as JV partners, in operations in several of your tenements.

Little point in that involvement unless progress meets their expectations, and it obviously hasn't....for some time.

Your question about an attempted T/O of the Co., well that's also been asked over at MEL, where you'd be aware EPW are substantial shareholders, but have no formal relationship...JV or otherwise.

I understand EPW have plans for two power stations in NSW, they have Braemar across the border in QLD, and as you say Neerabup in WA.

Commencement of construction in NSW is not at all near term, whereas in WA (and in your area) at Three Springs a 600MW(?) station is on the plan.

To that end I think EPW/EGO would want to further develop the field quite soon. Being a sandgroper myself (in exile), but updating daily all things West Australian, and with family there, I see no slowing in general growth across a number of sectors, all of them requiring power.

It's not Neerabup alone EPW might want to shore up reserves for, but essentially they MUST HAVE proven reserves enough to supply Three Springs.

So yes, strategic in a sense if you like, but with Three Springs generation in their business plan, I mean why wouldn't a PRO-ACTIVE Empire management team want to consider supplying an (eventual) 600MW gas fired plant?

Whilst I have spoken with EPW, they weren't recent discussions, and the above is entirely my surmising, based on lots of conversations, personal research etc, which I am happy to share with fellow enthusiasts, provided they realise I'm as amateur a DIYer as the next poster.

    Rgds,

    Lilac
