Well done to him but honestly, Essendon need to wake up and understand that you MUST bottom out to succeed. As hard as that is to swallow what would you rather do, hang around the bottom of the 8 for 10 years or bottom out for two and have a realistic chance at a Premiership in 4-5 years. Not a tough decision especially for a club who has such a big supporter base.
Still, happy for the Pies (even though we are only just going) to smash them for a few more years. Can't wait until Lloyd, Lucas, Fletcher and Michael are gone so they can replace them with... Um, wait a minute... Oh crap. Trouble ahead Bombers and it couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of arrogant supporters.
Not hard to tell they touched us up when we were down in the mid and late 90's is it!
