We would like to appeal to all accountants to disclose all state & local govt taxes in their accounts even when their employers don’t make a profit to pay corporate taxes to ATO.
There have been some politicians who claim companies don’t pay tax when this is totally incorrect and misleading. All accountants would know that every business cannot avoid paying the numerous State taxes which directly employ 1,527,600 in state government and 189,500 in local government giving a total of 1,717,100 in all states plus Federal Commonwealth employees the ATO pay of 239,800 employees.
I urge all corporations to start declaring all state & council taxes in their accounts and published materials on their websites.
