    A borrower who has held a mortgage for 10+ years would have  a lower  "Loan  to Value Ratio" (LVR) today...which would allow access to credit alot easier...

    When a borrower starts out...there LVR might be as high as  +80%...however as time carries on it should decrease...allowing for more "equity"...which in return a financier allows  more credit if needed...
