    It's all a bit of a quandary with no ideal or even good solution available.
    Immigrants to fill low paying jobs in theory require low priced housing, as our housing is already some of the highest priced housing in the world - prices - again in theory - have to come down for these immigrants.
    Sure, some of these people will live two large families to a house, thus  ending up with ten cars parked near the house - not quite desirable.
    In recent years, we have built a lot of apartments, some without even one car park - how ludicrous is that. 
    IMO, the current correction cycle should just be allowed to run it's course - heaven forbid any interference from the RBA or government. 
    For the direction of Aussie housing for the next few years, just watch the USA of Mr trump, the China of Mr Xi Jinping and Brexit - our fortunes are in the hands of others.
