"I like either Peppermint Grove or Dalkeith in Perth, “when” can I buy them for $1 m?"
Hmm. That famous Michael Caton line from The Castle springs to mind here.
The 'golden triangle' in Perth (Mosman Park, Dalkeith, Peppermint Grove, Claremont, Cottesloe and City Beach) has had modest falls, but these suburbs always survive downturns better than the rest.
Water and it's views are like a magnet for Perth property buyers and prices in that strip, just seem to keep going up.
