you know it is when the big guys start taking positions in the small fry to access their land banks............as did LEI this week when it took a 40% position in DVN...........and now after hours trading halt by APZ........wonder what that will be............ I thought dvn was something to watch since its shares started the year at .70 and grew to 1.00 before the spike on this ann. that was growth of .42% not bad for the year. Better than holding a house in Melb or Syd.........but probably comparable with QLd and WA. AVJ is similar company to DVN but it started the year on 1.25 and finished about the same............think it AVJ is more exposed to the NSW market, whereas DVN is in QLD and VIC So those people out there who cannot afford their first home............a position in a company in that industry, might actually get you part way there..........I need to do more research on each company..........they say QLD south east specifically is still growing.........WA has notched up another 31 % gain this year........so stay away from WA.........but look at companies with land banks in the other states to start with cheers
