The fundamental thing to remember with hotels is that they generally occupy the best realestate in town, have unique licenses (liquor, gaming, TAB, restaurants with long trading hours etc). And the potential to value add with accomodation, shops, delis, redevelopment etc. AND cross promote the whole lot.

Good locations and MANAGEABLE debt coupled with a smart operator can be huge bucks, lets hope they can do something.
