Fat Tony, They're a single Trifecta with combinations for 1st,2nd,3rd..... with as Chingy pointed out, there are 16 combinations to get it up once, which would cost $16 (SR6 Tri 2,4 / 2,3,4 / 1,2,3,4,6,9)  To work out the cost multiply 2*2*4

    Here are the combinations 2 / 3 / 1,4,6,9 cost $4

    .............................................2 / 4 / 1,3,6,9 cost $4

    .............................................4 / 2 / 1,3,6,9 cost$4

    .............................................4 / 3 / 1,2,6,9 cost$4

You are putting the combinations on one ticket instead of four in the first example.

The Second one has 135 combinations (SR7 Tri 2,3,7 / 1,2,3,7,11,16 / 1,2,3,4,7,8,9,11,13,16,19) so to get it up once would cost $135.

    Again multiply 3*5*9.

The SR7 Quinella is a standout ie the standout is : Horse no7 which has to come first or second with any of the other combinations (1,2,3,4,9,11,16,19) 1st or 2nd.

I'd rather Standout quinellas than Box quinellas.

The best thing to do if you are new to the game is go into the info centre of the TAB and look up different types of bets or if you have a mate/relative, thats a punter, ask him. The last option being the best.

Mate I've been punting for a long time and am still searching for the holy grail of punting. Am I in front..........NO way.

    Good Luck

    Md
