Just curious Jla why do you risk so much on a place with a super short priced favourite ? It always just confuses me.

I know likelihood of not at least placing is near impossible but risking say $10k to make $300 ? Worth it ?

FWIW not jinxing but i was reading about a punter the other day that had $35k on Federer to win $700 ..... and we know how that worked out, but sure most the time it would have pocketed the $700.
