(Sydney) Randwick Race 5 yesterday was named "Happy 18th Birthday Tom Norris"
I hope Tom Norris had an enjoyable 18th Birthday and at the same time took notice of the farce that happened in the race named for him. imo
The No 6 horse called So You Win was as dead as a door nail imo and it was known on Saturday morning with the betting fluctuations being around 1.80 out to 2.30 .
Admittedly the horse was having 3 starts in two weeks but why, if it was known on Saturday morning that the horse wouldn't produce its A grade game, judging by the fluctuations, was it allowed to start? Nothing was mentioned in the Stewards Report considering the move out from 1.80 to 2.30 Sat. (TAB fixed odds). A lot of punters take early win and alluppers from opening prices usually from Wednesday onwards and did their money cold because of the farce. imo So You Win opened at 2.50 Wed into 1.80 on Saturday following scratchings then did nothing but blow out from there.
Maybe the owners forced Waller to start the horse??? but Waller isn't stupid and should have known the horse was over the top with the last three runs in a row and should have scratched the horse and at least saved the Racing Punter from doing their money cold.
The general public have a right to know why this horse blew from 1.80 to 2.30 (TAB) but no, nothing is said. (Steward's Report)
I remember The Autumn Sun and its run last year when running second. Theres been many more. imo
I am now giving the punting game away on Tom Norris's birthday. Tom if you're out there and starting in the Punting Game, be prepared to get rorted . imo
