The point that a lot of people overlook is, temperature is king, not distance from a grid, a 50deg lower temperature reduces the energy by 50%,
but GDY will only loose 5-8% in transmission.
It's far better to be in the middle of Australia with hotter rocks than to be close to a grid with cooler rocks. This is the main driver for GDY choosing their leases where they did.
They will make more money per hole drilled than anyone else.
