What I marvel at is how many people are being exposed for having taken huge salaries during the boom times, for doing no more than turning up to the office every now and then just to pat themselves on the backs. Shareholders and creditors end up getting burnt by these managers and Board members who ride the cycles and don't see around the corners. There is good reason why a lot of sophisticated fund managers don't ever touch mining services or resources businesses. Too many families and other vested interests looking out only for themselves.
