Hi @mirren I have been using the new ANZ platform everyday ths week - Old Mate from ANZ premium rang me the other nite to apologise I suspect it had something to do with me transferring the $50k cash balance out and not just a random call because I have been a customer for 15 years.
He clicked my account over to access the CHI data but its either or and not combined data like we used to get with Iress trader and Pro Etrade - I have been using Pro Real Time end of day free version same as @redbacka uses and its ASX only data.
Iress trader charts are basic in comparison to PRT and the new CMC chart platform but the data is combined - So gaps that are filled on CHI X dont show as filled on PRT or CMC - Also Volume is not accurate as I mentioned in the other post a lot of the spec stocks are trading higher volume on CHI than on the ASX - I guess its not a big issue on the top 100
Putting the chart issue to one side the deal breaker for is to not be able to see the total depth screen ASX and CHI in one view also the time series view and daily VWAP of stocks in combined view. The CMC platform does not have this and its slow and clunky - I wouldn't be game to try and trade index minis on it in real time.
I have been trying to find out if anyone is using Amscot broking ? they appear to the cheapest on trades and offer iress trader as well - I got him to send me a screen shot and its the same as what I was getting with ANZ - Below that is Comsec iress viewpoint which looks pretty good as well and is a non java based platform-
I have applied for an account with Comsec and I can use either iress trader of viewpoint with them for the monthly fee $80 or free if you make 8 trades- But their brokerage cost are higher than Amscot. I might Still open an account with Amscot to try their service
and not just a random call because I have been a customer for 15 years.
