just about 3000 feet north of our acreages there are numerous operators showing glowing success
one is carrizo oil, a listed oil company. 46,000 acres in the EFS. $21 on the NYSE
Joint Venture with GAIL (India) in Eagle Ford Shale, September 2011 – 20% of 20,200 acres including 8 producing wells transferred to GAIL for $63.7 million cash and $31.4 million in development carry
these are the 3 wells 3000 feet north of our acreages
HARDIN-RAYES UNIT 10H POENISCH 11 H POENISCH 12 H
so just on performance. let look at oil, exclude gas completely.
3 wells off one pad. production from OCTOBER 2011 to AUG 2012, so only 10 months production..
354348 BO production..
lets use worse case scenario, $85 oil, $30 mill in the bank!!
pay back was way before 10 months there..
is all that worth $10k per acre..
lol....
based just on Gail's JVP with carizzo, did they not pay a year ago practically $100 mill for 5050 acres?
20% of 20,200 acres? and you cant even determine which acres they secured in the deal.. they are spread over 3 counties..
has the market really got the pricing right on texons acreages here??? i am going to continue to hold and accumulate where i can, imho texon can secure a deal thats nothing like the market price...
if you look at carizzo own presentation saying they have 300 - 400 EUR on their wells
texon is looking at different numbers
Two most recent wells –are guide to Eagle Ford productivity in Texon leases. Estimated ultimate recoveries per well from our two most recent wells are 550-600 mboe/well on 80 acre spacing.
so ball park you see a jvp buy equivalent value per acre 12 months ago $150 mill for an equivalent 7400 acre scenario
but thats for EUR on wells averaging 300 - 400 EUR
so how much for wells producing practically twice that?
DYOR on this one imho...
