I understand many, including myself, are very frustrated at what's going on.... and it appears posters may be getting suspended for comments interpreted as defamatory.
I would offer the following points, given I had a similar issue with a newly listed stock, in which I tried to inform other investors of a certain director's background.
1. Understand that the moderators need to take certain steps to avoid legal repercussions themselves. This is, as I understand, quite costly as a yearly figure.
Management of many companies do actually read the HC forums regularly.
2. Keep character attacks to a minimum. I don't see any legal issues IMO, with stating truthful comments that are objective in nature, whilst keeping profanities out of the equation and ensuring that any subjective viewpoints are clearly stated as your own opinion.
In saying this, I emailed the company yesterday and received a prompt response from a "Donna", asking for my contact number so Hamish can call me. I'm on a ship and only have satellite internet access for the next two weeks, so hopefully some sort of written response may be offered.
Please note, these are my personal opinions expressed and I'm not a legal expert.
Cheyne.
