48 volts nominal eh...but between 36v and 57v...that will throw another cat among the pigeons for as we know most devices run on up to 250v / 115v reduced to maybe 6v or 12v through transformers.

I don't know about availability of availability of transformers to reduce 50v to 6v? I know ships and aircraft use 115 volt as a rule, I guess because the US is 115volt. Where is 48 volt?

...Wow, 250kg per battery...phew...you would need a crane to lift each one. They must be pretty big physically...
